It's been a long time coming, but I'm finally offering my edu.zines (zines.edu, whatever) online. These are the zine handouts I've given to my students at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, and now you too can learn from them. Or maybe even gift them to the young zinester or comics artist in your life. (Typically these are offered at sliding scale pricing at events, but now you can get them kind of on-demand.)
The zines, as of now, break into three categories: Practice, Writing, and Comics.
Practice
Generally discussing structures within writing and the practice of being an independent artist. Whether that's navigating the world of "tables," mathing out your first zines, or figuring out the best fight scene for your story.

Writing
These booklets grapple with the wide world of storytelling, ranging from character arcs, aggregating writing tips from notable scribes, forming a comics script, and more.

Comics
Topics like these are one of the many parts of life that get me out of bed in the morning. I love discussing storytelling structures specifically within the broader comics medium--from how panels work together to each of the elements of comics. There's actually 8 parts to this collection, the rest of them I'm still putting together, so keep an eye out for them. (Prices may change for this group when more installments are added for the bundle, but the overall Zine Bundle will not increase.)
